About the Position
We're looking for an experienced Power System Delivery Engineer to join our Power & Utilities team and play a key role in scaling Kognitwin Grid. Kognitwin Grid helps transmission and distribution utilities better understand, model and operate increasingly complex energy networks. As electrification accelerates and grid operators face new challenges, digital technologies are becoming critical to enabling smarter planning and operational decision-making.
This role sits at the intersection of power systems engineering, customer delivery and digital transformation. You will lead customer projects from proof-of-concept through operational deployment, working closely with utilities, engineers, data specialists and product teams to ensure our solutions deliver meaningful value for customers.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead Customer Delivery
Lead delivery of Kognitwin Grid projects from project initiation through operational rollout.
Manage scope, schedules, risks, stakeholders and project governance activities.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across software engineering, data engineering and power systems experts.
Ensure successful execution of customer commitments and business outcomes.
Provide Power Systems Expertise
Act as a trusted technical advisor for transmission and distribution utility customers.
Apply expertise in grid planning and operations including load flow analysis, contingency analysis, hosting capacity studies and network modelling.
Validate and assure quality of grid models built from customer source systems.
Support customers in applying digital technologies to operational and planning challenges.
Understand Customer Challenges
Work closely with engineering, planning and operational teams to understand customer use cases and business needs.
Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
Translate customer challenges into practical technical solutions.
Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Collaborate Across Product and Engineering Teams
Work with product and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and effectively addressed.
Provide customer feedback and market insights that help improve the product.
Support identification and evaluation of new use cases and future opportunities.
Contribute to continuous improvement of customer delivery approaches.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have Experience
MSc or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or a related discipline.
Experience working within power system planning, operations or grid engineering.
Experience working with utilities, TSOs, DSOs, consultancies or energy technology providers.
Knowledge of power system modelling and simulation tools such as PowerFactory, PSS®E, PandaPower, PSCAD or equivalent.
Experience leading technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Fluent English language skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience supporting grid digitalisation, advanced analytics or operational technology initiatives.
Experience working with digital twin platforms, grid software solutions or ADMS/DERMS technologies.
Exposure to product organisations, requirements management or software delivery environments.
Familiarity with Azure, APIs or modern data integration approaches.
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent).
Additional European language capability, including Norwegian.
